Today, we’ll be going over the Nexomon Effectiveness chart, an integral part of the game that can be the difference between winning and losing a battle!
In Nexomon, unlike Nexomon Extinction, there are only 7 types with Ghost and Psychic being absent! As of such, there are certain differences to the Type Chart that you should be aware of going into the original.
Besides Normal, which is completely neutral with no resistances or weaknesses, the other 6 types give you serious advantages over your opponents! It’s super easy, all you’ve got to do is remember it…
Fire is advantageous against Plant and Wind, but disadvantageous to Water and Mineral.
How to remember: Fire burns Plant and spreads with Wind, but Fire is put out by Water and can’t set Mineral alight.
Water is advantageous against Fire and Mineral, but disadvantageous to Plant and Electric.
How to remember: Water puts out Fire and erodes Mineral, but Water feeds Plant and conducts Electric.
Plant is advantageous against Water and Electric, but disadvantageous to Fire and Wind.
How to remember: Plant is fed by Water and is a poor conductor of Electric, but is set alight by Fire and Wind destroys Plant life.
Wind is advantageous against Plant and Mineral, but disadvantageous to Electric and Fire.
How to remember: Wind destroys Plant life and can erode Minerals, but Electric strikes Nexomon at high altitudes and Wind spreads Fire easily.
Electric is advantageous against Water and Wind, but disadvantageous to Mineral and Plant.
How to remember: Electric is conducted by Water and strikes flying (Wind) Nexomon, but both Mineral and Plant are bad conductors of Electric.
Mineral is advantageous against Fire and Electric, but disadvantageous to Water and Wind.
How to remember: Mineral does not get burned by Fire and does not conduct Electric, but Mineral can be eroded by both Water and Wind.
We’re sure it’s obvious, but definitely important to note that the defensive capabilities of any type are the same as the offensive capabilities in Nexomon. This means that if one type is very effective on another, the other type will not be very effective on the former.
Good luck on your Tamer journey, and we’re sure you’ll be a Nexomon expert in no time!
