<p>Let&#8217;s discuss the evolution mechanic within the game, and how the rarity of your Nexomon will play into how it evolves. We&#8217;ll also touch on Nexotraps, their effectiveness and how best to use them.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="2139" height="1234" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4213" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions.png 2139w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions-300x173.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions-1024x591.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions-768x443.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions-1536x886.png 1536w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Evolutions-2048x1182.png 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 2139px) 100vw, 2139px" /></figure>

<p>Firstly, Nexomon come in different rarity denominations depending on the Nexomon itself:<br><br><strong>Common</strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Average potential, they do not evolve<br><br><strong>Uncommon</strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Somewhat capable, they evolve once<br><br><strong>Rare</strong> &#8211; Strong Nexomon, evolving twice<br><br><strong>Mega</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Rare&nbsp;</strong>&#8211; Very Strong Nexomon, evolving twice<br><br><strong>Special</strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Starter Nexomon, evolving twice<br><br>The lower down this list, the rarer the Nexomon is; and subsequently the better they are in combat, and more evolutions they&#8217;ll obtain. So be sure to use them in your battles!<br><br>But first&#8230; you&#8217;ll have the catch them.<br>And to do that, you&#8217;ll need Nexotraps.<br><br></p>

<p><strong>Nexotraps and using them wisely</strong></p>

<p>Arguably the most useful item in Nexomon, there are two types of Nexotrap: Normal Nexotraps and Golden Nexotraps. These traps fulfil the roll of capturing Nexomon that you encounter during your adventures.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4196" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotraps-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Normal Nexotraps:</strong>&nbsp;Suggested use for catching Common, Uncommon and sometimes Rare Nexomons<br><br>&#8211; They can catch all type of Nexomon, but they have a chance to fail based on the Nexomon&#8217;s strength.<br>&#8211; For a better chance to catch a Nexomon, you will need to make it weak first by taking it HP down as low as possible without it fainting.<br>&#8211; Mega Rare and Legendary Nexomon are very hard to catch with normal Nexotraps.<br>&#8211; You can buy Nexotraps in the shop for a cheap price; 250 Gold each.<br><br></p>

<p><strong>Golden Nexotraps:</strong>&nbsp;Suggested use for catching Mega Rare and Legendary Nexomon<br><br>&#8211; These Nexotraps never fail and can catch any Nexomon instantly<br>&#8211; If you don&#8217;t want to lose time, the Golden Nexotraps are there for that purpose<br>&#8211; You can&#8217;t buy them in the shop like Normal Nexotraps, but you can find them in the world. Make sure you save them for special Nexomon, as there are a finite amount of these&#8230; once they&#8217;re used up, that&#8217;s it!<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1332" height="744" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotrap_Capture.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4202" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotrap_Capture.png 1332w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotrap_Capture-300x168.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotrap_Capture-1024x572.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Nexotrap_Capture-768x429.png 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1332px) 100vw, 1332px" /></figure>

<p>And that about wraps it up for today&#8217;s post! We do hope that you found this useful, and that it will help guide your journey in taming a strong, well-rounded team.<br><br><br>For more information on the rarity and evolution mechanics, check out this video by Gym Leader Ed:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="2000" height="2000" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg.webp" alt="" class="wp-image-4188" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg.webp 2000w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg-300x300.webp 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg-1024x1024.webp 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg-150x150.webp 150w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg-768x768.webp 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Effectiveness_Chart.jpg-1536x1536.webp 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px" /></figure>

<p>Besides Normal, which is completely neutral with no resistances or weaknesses, the other 6 types give you serious advantages over your opponents! It’s super easy, all you’ve got to do is remember it&#8230;<br></p>

<p><strong>Fire</strong> is advantageous against Plant and Wind, but disadvantageous to Water and Mineral.&nbsp;<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Fire burns Plant and spreads with Wind, but Fire is put out by Water and can’t set Mineral alight.<br></p>

<p><strong>Water</strong> is advantageous against Fire and Mineral, but disadvantageous to Plant and Electric.<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Water puts out Fire and erodes Mineral, but Water feeds Plant and conducts Electric.&nbsp;<br></p>

<p><strong>Plant</strong> is advantageous against Water and Electric, but disadvantageous to Fire and&nbsp;Wind.<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Plant is fed by Water and is a poor conductor of Electric, but is set alight by Fire and Wind destroys Plant life.<br></p>

<p><strong>Wind</strong> is advantageous against Plant and Mineral, but disadvantageous to Electric and Fire.<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Wind destroys Plant life and can erode Minerals, but Electric strikes Nexomon at high altitudes and Wind spreads Fire easily.<br></p>

<p><strong>Electric</strong> is advantageous against Water and Wind, but disadvantageous to Mineral and&nbsp;Plant.<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Electric is conducted by Water and strikes flying (Wind) Nexomon, but both Mineral and Plant are bad conductors of Electric.&nbsp;<br></p>

<p><strong>Mineral</strong> is advantageous against Fire and Electric, but disadvantageous to Water and Wind.<br><strong>How to remember</strong>: Mineral does not get burned by Fire and does not conduct Electric, but Mineral can be eroded by both Water and Wind.&nbsp;<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4203" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/The_More_You_Know-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>We&#8217;re sure it&#8217;s obvious, but definitely important to note that the defensive capabilities of any type are the same as the offensive capabilities in Nexomon. This means that if one type is very effective on another, the other type will not be very effective on the former.&nbsp;<br><br>Good luck on your Tamer journey, and we&#8217;re sure you&#8217;ll be a Nexomon expert in no time!<br><br></p>

<p>Upon starting your Tamer adventure you&#8217;re given the choice of one of seven Starter Nexomon, each representing the elemental types present within the game: normal, water, fire, mineral, wind, electric and plant.</p>

<p>Let’s have a look at them now, and how they’ll evolve as you journey with them:<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4171" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Vulazy_Starter-2-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Normal</strong></p>

<p>First up we have Vulazy, an extremely lazy Nexomon that clearly likes to take it easy. This fox creature spends its days resting, hoping that someday it&#8217;ll have the motivation to get up and do something productive… Fingers crossed, it’ll wake up before the battle begins!<br><br>At level 16, it evolves into Vulpep. After finally growing, it’s found its motivation and has got a little pep in its step! This Nexomon is far more energetic and passionate about its goals than it&#8217;s pre-evolution.<br><br>Finally at level 32, it’s going to evolve into Kitsunox, the warrior Nexomon. Vulpep&#8217;s hardwork has finally paid off, paving the way for this fighter to make an impact in your battles. It is definitely worth considering for your roster.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4112" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Bevy_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Water</strong></p>

<p>Bevy is a pretty simple creature. It’s a cute little beaver Nexomon that is sure to make your heart melt, spending its time building dams with its family. Don’t be fooled by the cuteness! Bevy isn’t afraid to sink its teeth into the competition.</p>

<p>At level 16 it will evolve into Barver. Barver is a clear example of the Bevy line&#8217;s &#8220;awkward teen&#8221; phase. It generally tries to revel by venturing away from the dam sometimes causing it to get lost.<br><br>Bedam is the final stage of Bevy, evolving at level 30. It’s worked out its rebellious phase, looking a lot less edgy. It&#8217;s very powerful, being able to lift large pieces of wood to build dams for it and its friends.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4113" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sprunk_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Fire</strong></p>

<p>What does a Sprunk have in common with a scented candle? They can both burn you, and they both stink. Considering it’s a fiery starter, they are relatively docile creatures. Watch out for their stink pouch, which they utilize alongside their fire abilities to escape threatening situations.</p>

<p>It evolves into Expunk at level 17. Much like it&#8217;s pre-evolution, Expunk are also very docile creatures. However, they rely on their fire power and will stand their ground when provoked. Be sure not to get on their bad side!</p>

<p>Get Expunk to level 34, and it will evolve into Fetidoom. Fetidoom have full confidence in their power and abilities. While they won&#8217;t go out of their way to attack, if provoked they&#8217;ll incinerate their targets accordingly. Oh… and they smell VERY bad.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4114" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Blizo_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Mineral</strong></p>

<p>A bulky Yeti Nexomon with a powerful monobrow and rock-solid constitution, Blizo is a Nexomon that lives in the cold mountains of the frozen tundra. It&#8217;s said to be very territorial, a little slow but can really pack a punch!</p>

<p>At level 16 it evolves into Blizbrow. After many battles won, it evolves to further adapt to its environment. The size of its eyebrow represents the number of battles won, and the time it’s spend defending its territory.<br><br>After enough fighting and eyebrow growth, Blizloo emerges at level 36. Blizloo is the result of years of training at the peak of the cold mountains in complete isolation. It&#8217;s large chest muscles represent the dedication to its resolve, and it’s sure to be a rock for your team to rely on.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4115" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Fethra_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Wind</strong></p>

<p>The wind type starter line starts with Fethra, the mythical flying serpent. They’re said to be extremely elusive, to the point some people doubt their existence. With devastating wind attacks, their speed and agility are unmatched – get ready to blow the competition away!</p>

<p>Fethra evolves into Tempestra at level 16. It has no problem decimating its enemies with the full force of a small tornado. A master of the winds, they’re able to create small storm systems in their wake.<br><br>Finally, at level 32, it evolves into Draclon. Thought to live within the eye of a storm, Draclone are thought to be Draconian wind gods, who can easily use their wind to cut through metal like butter. These creatures won&#8217;t attack, unless provoked, so be sure to keep them happy.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4116" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Velokitti_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Electric</strong></p>

<p>A zippy Nexomon that’s just brimming with energy, Vellokitti is the fastest of the starter Nexomon, utilizing its lightning to boost its speed in battle. Maybe if you ask nicely it’ll charge your electronics for you?</p>

<p>At level 14 it&#8217;ll evolve into Acca. Acca is a very energetic Nexomon who spends a lot if its time trying to hook itself up to various electrical sources to boost its own power.<br><br>Jeeta is the pinnacle of speed. Evolving at level 36, it can travel at near jet speeds completely blowing away its opponents. Unsurprisingly, they love thunderstorms.<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4117" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Petril_Starter-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p><strong>Element: Plant</strong></p>

<p>And finally, the last starter of the bunch is the plant type line starting with Petril. A reptile-like Nexomon with a cute flower accessory, Petril is the result of an unknown lizard creature fusing with a mysterious type of flower. Watch out for the pollen count – Petril uses plant life to tangle up his opponents.&nbsp;<br><br>After evolving at level 17, enter Frillia; the flower and lizard have grown more accustomed to each other, and have further fused into a formidable, flower-wielding foe.<br><br>Corozard is the final evolution and final Nexomon on this list, evolving from Frillia at level 36. The fusion has finally led to one creature, gaining greater abilities with its link to the flowers and fauna.&nbsp;<br><br></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1920" height="1080" src="https://pqube.co.uk/nexomon-original/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4118" srcset="https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection.png 1920w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection-300x169.png 300w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection-1024x576.png 1024w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection-768x432.png 768w, https://nexomon-original.pqube.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/All_Starters_Collection-1536x864.png 1536w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>
